Agreement

Black History Legacy is operated by MJ Professional Solutions LLC. By using the site or creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Accounts

• You must provide accurate information and keep your password confidential.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• Teachers who invite students are responsible for having the permission needed from their school or the students' parents.
• We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or misuse the service.

Subscriptions and Billing

• The Pro plan is $17 per month and includes 50 AI generations per calendar month. Generations do not roll over, and the counter resets on the first day of each month.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month until canceled. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change with notice for future billing periods.
• Because access is delivered immediately, payments are generally non-refundable. If something goes wrong, contact us — we review refund requests case by case.
• We may pause or limit accounts with unpaid balances or unusual usage.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the site for anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, or harmful to minors.
• Attempt to break, overload, scrape at scale, or reverse engineer the service.
• Share your account credentials or resell access without our written permission.
• Upload material you do not have the rights to use.

AI-Generated Material

Lesson plans, worksheets, quizzes, and chatbot answers are produced by an AI system and are intended for Black history education. AI can make mistakes, including about names, dates, and events. Always review material before using it with students. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any particular classroom or curriculum standard.

Your Content and Our Content

You keep ownership of what you upload or create and grant us the limited right to store, display, and process it so we can provide the service. Site text, design, portraits, illustrations, and compiled historical entries belong to MJ Professional Solutions LLC or its licensors. You may use lesson materials you generate for classroom and personal educational purposes, including printing and sharing with your own students. You may not republish site content commercially without permission.

Historical and Third-Party Material

Some images, quotations, speeches, and videos are historical works or are embedded from third-party platforms such as YouTube, and remain the property of their respective owners. They appear here for educational and commentary purposes. If you own material used here and would like it credited differently or removed, contact us and we will act promptly.

Advertising and Sponsorship

The site may show sponsor banners. Sponsorship does not imply that we endorse the advertiser, and we are not responsible for the products, services, or websites of third parties.

Availability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, MJ Professional Solutions LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the site and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are broken or if required by law.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which MJ Professional Solutions LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
