Bridging the gap in black. From Jean-Jacques Dessalines, Sojourner Truth, Harriet Tubman, Daniel Halle Williams, Rosa Parks, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Katherine Johnson to Robert F. Smith, Denzel Washington, Michelle & Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Lebron James, Tarana Burke, Dr. Shirley Webber, and Roosevelt Williams III, there are so many stories known, told and untold, that have shifted cultures, opened doors to innovation, created wealth, and expanded freedom for so many within the black community and beyond.
We honor and celebrate the creativity, innovation, determination, resourcefulness, and might of leaders who effect change, educate, and shift cultures. Their impact transcends borders, generations, and time, leaving inspirational legacies in the past, present, and future.

From historical figures to today’s change-makers, we are sharing stories, recognizing achievements, and catalyzing impact.
Join us as we celebrate those who have come before us, those who are with us now, and those for whom we’re continuously creating space. We are highlighting and honoring the legacy of individuals, groups, and communities, whose impact we can't yet even imagine.

What YBNB is All About
Young Black & N’ Business LLC. is a business community that aims to create generational wealth through business enterprise, education, employment, and investing. Their goal is to support the business, career, and financial success of their Chamber members which results in the economic empowerment and vertical integration of early emerging entrepreneurs.
Roosevelt Williams, III, founder, family man, and visionary formed Young Black & N' Business with the hopes of providing a ladder for upward mobility for his community. This ladder would do more than help people leave the "physical" hood, but release the mental shackles formed by systematic marginalization. Today, Young Black & N' Business is proud to bring early entrepreneurs out of the darkness and into the light by helping them grow their professional look network, providing high value exposure opportunities, and entrepreneurial content from real entrepreneurs.
